Makeup Inspiration - Dolce & Gabbana Autumn/Winter 2012

This is a beautiful, soft, natural look, which was created by Pat McGrath, one of my favorite Makeup Artist, for the Dolce and Gabbana for the Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection.
This season Dolce and Gabbana wanted a bit more purity, and the models to look gorgeous.
It's all based on Madonna—the Madonna, not the singer. I know, it’s surely hard to believe that there was a woman called Madonna before the singer.
Hair was kept very simple with strict middle parting and embellished headbands, barrettes, and clips were added to complement the earrings and clothing.
This must be my favorite look for the Autumn/Winter 2012 so far, and I did my best to recreate the look, which is actually quite simple.

Products used:
Face:
Smashbox photo finish primer
MAC Body and Face Foundation
MAC Studio finish Concealer in NW15 – to highlight and even out skin tone (applied on middle of forehead, nose bone, under the eye, chin)
Mac casual colour lip and cheek in Keep it casual – applied on the cheeks and lips

Eyes:
Bobbi Brown Cream Eyeshadow in Bone as allover lid color and the inner corner– matte off white shade
Inglot Eye shadow in D.S 461 - warm, beige brown with gold glitter– applied in the lid  crease und under the lower lash line, to contour the eyes
MAC lip pencil in Naked – on the lower waterline
Benefit Bad Gal in plum - only on the upper lash line

Hope you like the look!
