How To Properly Cleanse Your Skin

Most women think that the moisturizer is the most important step in their skin care regime, but they are wrong, it’s actually the cleanser.  Of course there are no creams or cleansers in the world that can make you look you are 18 through all you your life, but a good skin care can delay the ageing process considerably.  As you get older your skin gets dull-looking and one of the reasons for that is that when the cell turnover slows down, dead skin on the surface doesn't reflect light nicely. A good cleanser will remove dead skin cells, stimulate circulation to the skin and make you look brighter and younger.  Also if your skin is not cleansed properly, it will not absorb the serums and the moisturizer properly.
I am shocked how many of my friends and clients use facial wipes for cleansing.  Girls, these are emergency wipes, and emergency is if you are being stranded on a deserted island without running water. The facial wipes will just move the dirt around your face and push it deeper into your pores.
To properly cleanse your skin you should always use the double cleanse technique, which is used in beauty salons; first cleanse is to remove the makeup and the second is to deeply clean the pores.
The first cleanser should be essential oil or a milk type cleanser. Apply small amount of the cleanser to dry face and massage it in circular motions for about one minute and then remove with facial sponges and warm water.

I use these sponges to remove the cleanser, they are quite inexpensive and also double up mild exfoliator.  You can buy them in  beauty salon  wholesale shops.

Neal's Yard Beauty Sleep Concentrate

When it comes to skincare, I am not a loyal customer. I am always on a look-out for the next best thing that will give the perfect skin.
One of the products that I recently discovered and now I can live without is the Neal's Yard Beauty Sleep Concentrate. It has a very relaxing and sleep inducing scent with a blend of ylang ylang, orange, patchouli, clary sage and cypress.  It's like a sleep miracle, I could fall asleep the minute I apply it, and I sleep very deep after and it makes my skin look like as it had eight hours sleep next morning.  Also from  the very first application I could tell the difference in the softness and smoothness of my skin. The texture is so light and absorbs into my skin very quickly. The glass bottle has a pump applicator and therefore really hygienic to use. A little goes a long way, so only three pumps cover my whole face. Gently massage onto skin with a light, upwards, circular motion.

Neal's Yard Beauty Sleep Concentrate  is suitable for all skin types and is 90% organic and it  doesn't contains any parabens, silicones, mineral oils, and artificial fragrances. Neal's Yard have conducted clinical trials on this product and have found that it increased the skin's moisture by up to 98% over 12 hours.

Benefits in a nutshell
• Supports skin’s night time recovery
• Helps prevent premature skin ageing
• Replenishes and refreshes
• Increases skin's moisture levels by up to 98% over 12 hours
Price in Ireland: € 37.00

I thoroughly recommend this to everyone.  I also love theirs rose hip oil which I use for my daily face massage... watch the video below!

Have you ever tried Neal's Yard Beauty Sleep Concentrate?

The Sacred Truth Mask by Lush - Review

One of my favorite face masks is The Sacred Truth Mask by Lush. Every time my skin starts to feel tired and stressed out, I always go back to this one. After using this mask my skin looks fresh, radiant and feels baby-soft.
The mask contains many great ingredients including green tea, wheatgrass, ginseng. eggs, papaya and kaolin clay.  It has a buttery, creamy and  smooth texture and and spreadable. And the scent is so fresh and green 'grassy' and very natural and pleasant.

Kiel’s Ultra Facial Micro Serum - Review

Are you looking for a good colorant, silicone, paraben, scent-free, soothing and moisturizing serum? Then look no further.
Kiel’s Ultra Facial Serum is the newest innovation to the Ultra Facial Collection, inspired by the classic moisturizing lotion introduced over three decades ago.

Key ingridients:

Antarcticine (Glacial Glycoprotein Extract)  Pronunciation : ant-ARK-tuh-seen

Benefits : superb dryness preventing properties whilst shielding against free-radicals

Imperata Cylindrica (Desert Plant Extract) Pronunciation : im-per-AH-duh suh-LIN-dri-kuh

Benefits: Imperata Cylindrica’s roots contain high concentrations of potassium which provides an immediate and lasting hydrating effect.

What I think of Kiel’s Ultra Facial Serum?
I have tried hundreds, different moisturizing serums and few really expensive ones, but this one is my favorites so far! My skin gets easily dehydrated and tends to be on the dry side in general. This serum hydrates my skin nicely and doesn't block my pores. It has been particularly effective in dealing with the dehydrated patches of skin on my cheeks, nose and forehead.
As you all know, I wear makeup on a daily basis and this also makes the most perfect base, since it absorbs so well.
It comes in small bottle with a pump which makes it very sanitary, and all you need is a one to two pumps to cover your whole face.  It has a non sticky   texture somewhere between a cream and a gel and it feels light on my skin. There is almost no scent, which is a bonus if you are allergic to perfumes, but I kind of like my creams scented. I use this serum along my other Dermalogica, DMK and Image Skincare products.

Cost in Ireland  €35 for 50 ml.

Have you tried the Kiel’s Ultra Facial Micro Serum yet? What are your tips to prevent dehydration in winter?

Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Masque - Review

Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Masque is a creamy, moisture-replinishing masque that helps nourish ultra-dry skin.
This is my favorite masque and I used it 1-2 a week as recommended and nothing gives my skin that plump smoothness and clarity. In the winter months my skin gets really  dehydrated, and this masque does wonders  hydrating my drier areas.  It's like a hydration booster that allows my skin to regulate and heal itself. Everytime I use it, my skin looks and feels soft and supple.  The masque is clay-based and  is chalky white so you will know if you missed a spot. The texture is  very thick and  it spreads easily on my face. It has a nice scent and contains evening primrose oil, honey, and vitamins A,C and E.

How to use:
I use it after I remove make-up with the double cleanse system and usually exfoliate my face and leave the masque  on longer than recommended, usually about 30 minutes. or sometimes even longer. After I rinse it off, I  follow with serum and moisturizer.
Highly recommended  masque, especially during winter!

Have you tried the Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Masque yet? Do you recommend another masque to combat skin dryness and dehydration?

S.O.S for cracked lips

Do you suffer from cracked and chapped lips? Cracked lips are not only cosmetic problem; it can be quite uncomfortable and painful having cracked lips. Here are some simple tips that you can do at home to treat the cracked lips naturally.

First of all, increase your intake of vitamin A rich foods such as green leafy greens, legumes,  whole grains, and all yellow and orange fruits and vegetables.
You can also help your lips by drinking loads of  liquids thorough the day to keep the lips moist and hydrated.  Generally avoid licking your lips with your tongue, since this can dry them out even more.

Top TIP
If your lips are already badly chapped mix 1tsp. each of olive oil, sugar and petroleum jelly, apply on the lips, leave for about five minutes and then scrub your lips for another minute with the paste. That should get rid of flaky bits and remove dead skin on your lips and also deep moisturize the lips at the same time.

Always use lip balms throughout the day  to keep  your lips and moisturized. My favorite lip balms are Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream Lip Protectant Stick and Burt’s Bees Lip Balm, and I can highly recommend them both.

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream Lip Protectant Stick
I was recommended Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream Lip Protectant Stick a couple of years ago when I was suffering from terrible cracked and painful dry lips and I to date it’s still my favorite lip balm. I feel like shouting out to the world, that people must go and get this. It's really moisturizing on my lips and it stays on so there's no need to constantly re-apply. I just love how it feels on my lips, so soft and smooth.  I have also used it on my cuticles and dry skin patches in my face without any problems. Too bad this is pretty expensive for a lip balm. Cost in Ireland 22.50 Euro.

Burt’s Bees Lip Balm
If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream Lip Protectant Stick, then try Burt’s Bees Lip Balm. This  lip balm is more on the waxy side, so it's drier and you can definitely feel the wax on the lips, but it really does a great job moistening my lips and it lasts on my lips for awhile.  It truly is soothing, cooling, and refreshing. Cost in Ireland 3.50 Euro.

Also apply lip balm every night before you go to bed and you will wake up every morning with smooth and moisturized lips.

What are you tips for chapped lips? Any other home remedies or lip balms you recommend?

S.O.S for dehydrated skin

It’s just this time of the year. Skin is feels tight and looks parched, and I am sure you’ve heard women complaining, that they feel their skin is so dry. Well it’s usually not dry but dehydrated.

Now I am sure you will ask what the difference is.

Dry skin is a skin type and it lacks oil.  Dehydrated skin is a skin condition and it lacks water.  So basically every skin type can be dehydrated, even highly oily skin. In fact dehydrated skin can produce more oil in an attempt to stop the skin becoming more dehydrated.

How to tell the difference?

Here is the test:  take the long edge of your index finger and place it on the lower part of your cheek and then gently press upwards, if your skin has lots of really fine, tiny, crinkly lines, then your skin is dehydrated.

Reasons why your skin might be dehydrated could be one of the following:

Not drinking enough water. I am a firm believer in hydrating the skin from both the inside and outside. So make sure to drink loads of water during the day. Also eating foods that contain mostly water, such as most fruits and vegetables can help with dehydration.
Drinking to many caffeinated drinks, such as tea, coffee, fizzy drinks etc.  Try to limit them as much as possible.
Smoking or being exposed to smoke in the air for longer periods.
Heat or air conditioning.
Over cleansing and use of too harsh cleansers. In fact every cleanser that requires water to remove it can affect the Ph balance of the skin. In order to prevent further dehydration, always use a hydrating toner after.
Incorrect skin care for your skin type. If you are not sure what your skin type is, then I would suggest to see a beauty therapist and seek advice.
I can recommend the following products, to help combat dehydration.

Decleór Aromessence Excellence
It is hard to believe that an oil can actually help diminish oil production in the skin, but it's true. It helps to renew the skin (combination of Iris Concrete, Essential Oils of Frankincense and Magnolia and the Sol-collagenine Complex), combats skin dehydration (Inca Inchi Plant Oils, Plum Kernels and Quinoa Macerate) and reduces pigmentation irregularities (Roman Camomile Essential Oil). It has normalized my oily T-zone  and dry cheeks considerably. It smells amazingly relaxing and makes you feel pampered. I use this every morning  after cleansing , just 3 drops , and it makes skin glow from within in a non-shiny way.  My favorite at the moment.
DMK seba-e
This is a very fine blend of herbal oils and vitamin E which aims to penetrate the skin and seal in moisture. It’s supposed to  replicate your skin’s natural sebum to retain the water and nutrients necessary for cell life. This oil always helps with dryness and dehydration.  I usually use it with DMK Herb and Mineral Mist.
Trilogy Rosehip Oil
This oil is honestly like liquid gold for my dry and pigmentation prone skin. The oil feels very soothing on my face. I only use about four drops, and that covers my whole face. I massage my face then for about five minutes, and after that, my skin feels so soft and moisturized. The lipids found in Rosehip oil are similar to those found in your skin; therefore, it absorbs easily, leaving no oily residue.
Decleórs Aromessence Rose d`Orient D’Orient  Soothing Night balm

This balm has a rich texture, but still doesn't clog my pores and it makes my skin look dewy and plump.  I love it when I wake up next morning and all the redness and sensitivity is gone.
I take a bean size and warm up using my palm, and I massage it in for about 5 to 10 minutes. The balm just melts into my skin. The smell is divine and really helps me to relax. I even found that I sleep much better with the balm, must be due to the essential oils in it.

How to use the hydrating serums:
After cleansing my skin I spray on Dermalogica Multi Active Toner or DMK Herb and Mineral Mist and then seal in the moisture with few drops of the face treatment oil mentioned above, by massaging it lightly into my skin.

Here is a video how to massage your skin and the best thing is you can do this every evening in front of your telly!

What are you tips for well hydrated skin? Any particular products you would like to recommend?

Enzyme peels and masks - what are they?

An enzyme peel is a treatment that is used to deeply cleanse and resurface the skin on the face by treating the upper layers of skin tissue. Enzyme peel uses organic and all natural ingredients to remove dead skin cells and restore your skin. The natural enzymes then dissolve surface skin debris and leave skin feeling soft, cleansed and refreshed. Fruit enzymes peels provide your skin with nutrients and accelerate cell renewal process, that will then generate a new layer of fresh and strong new cells. By removing dead skin cells, the face is left clearer with a more even tone and texture.

Enzyme peel is generally regarded as a gentle exfoliator which is great for all skin types as it is an enzyme exfoliation and not a chemical aha or bha exfoliation. Enzyme peel is recommended if you have sensitive skin that is non-tolerant of acid usage. It also can improve acne, by thoroughly cleansing the congested pores, that may be clogged with excess surface sebum, dead skin cells and other impurities.
Enzyme peel has the greatest benefits when wet, once it dries the enzymes stop working and so it really needs to be used with steam.

This fruit enzyme property is naturally present in plants like aloe vera and fruits like papaya, pumpkin, pineapple, grapefruit, cucumber and some others. You could make your own enzyme peel by mashing these ingredients together in a food processor and then applying it freshly to your face. You couldn't get a more organic peel than that.

I love enzyme peels and I use them on regular basis in my facial routine and I they defiently make a difference. When using enzymatic peels or masks at home, make sure to remove the peel thoroughly and use a toner to restore the skin's acidic pH value to 5.6. You will also have to protect your freshly exfoliated skin with a sunscreen with at least SPF 30 , otherwise you might risk damage to the skin.

I can recommend the following enzyme peels for home use:

Nimue Exfoliating Enzyme
A combination of Papaya and Pineapple enzymes in a non abrasive gel base detach dead skin cells gently and promote cell renewal.
I really feel that it refines skin texture and leaves my skin clean, smooth and radiant skin. I find it just a tad to drying for skin, so I always follow with extra rich serum and moisturiser.

Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel exfoliating cream
It has 7 active ingredients, such as papaya, pineapple, seaweed and vitamin E to repair skin.
I find this is a great exfoliating creme peel for sensitive or mature skin types.
My skin feels really smooth and well moisturised.
It smells lovely, like a fruit smoothie and feels more like a masque than a peel.

Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Gel Mask
It contains a combination of amino acids, cerola cherry, white truffle and great burdock.  Once applied it has tingling sensation on my skin and has menthol scent and feel.
After use,  my skin feels refreshed, plumped up and has rosy after glow. Be careful, if you have sensitive or dehydrated skin, it might be to drying.

glotherapeutics glo Brightening Polish
Recommended for all skin types and hyperpigmentation, sun & environmental damage, freckling, dull complexion.
Brightens the skin with Kojic Acid, Turmeric and fruit extracts. Also contains Jojoba beads for mechanical exfoliation.
I like the way it brightens my skin, haven't experienced any lightening on my old pigmentation spots, can also be tad drying, so this one also needs good nouri moisturiser for after use.

glotherapeutics glo Pumpkin Enzyme Scrub
It contains gentle physical, such as date seeds and jojoba beads and enzymatic exfoliants, such as pumpkin and fruit enzymes together with rice extract
to help breakdown dull, rough skin and impurities without damaging or irritating healthy skin.
I find it gentle enough to use 3- 4 times a week. It feels really nourishing and moisterizing on the skin. My favourite scrub at the moment.

Have you tried any enzymatic peels or srubs yet? What is your favourite?

Home made facial masks for all skin types

The spa isn't the only place you can treat your skin to a nice relaxing facial.  You can get spa-style treatments for a fraction of the cost by making homemade facial masks using the ingredients right out of your kitchen and your cup board.   I have listed below few quick and easy face mask recipes for all skin types  that  you can make at home, just make sure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients.

 Facial Mask for Sensitive skin
Sensitive skin tends to thin, delicate with fine pores. It flushes easily, is prone to broken capillaries, is frequently allergic and can be skin rash.

Recipe:
Vollbild anzeigen3 large spoons of Natural Yogurt
2 large spoons of Ground Oatmeal.

Mix the ingredients together. Apply to the skin for 10-15 minutes. Apply to your face and let it sit for 15 minutes. Rinse off the mask with warm water. Dry by patting gently with a towel.

How to slow down aging process and minimize wrinkles

Wrinkles are mostly associated with aging and it is something that starts happening in our twenties and thirties. But why do we get wrinkles? You know this, you cut your finger and in 2-3 days it is back to normal. So, if our body can heal itself, and even fight disease, why can it then not repair also the skin damage that causes the skin to wrinkle?
The fact is, as we get older, the cells replace and regenerate more slowly than they do when we are younger thus delaying repair and renewal of the skin.
Also, as we age, the fat cells just under the outer layer of our skin, which makes the skin look supple, get smaller and lose their ability to fill out whatever gaps created by the damage that occurs in the inner layers of our skin. And so our skin starts to  sag, becomes dry and develops wrinkles.
There are also external factors that can aggravate skin damage. The top three skin enemies, which I also call the  3’s, are sun, smoking and sugar.

Sun exposure
Although  we need some sun light to build Vitamin D, which is needed for Serotonin production (a feel good hormone)  and  also for good  bone health, spending too much time under the sun with minimal or no protection at all causes the skin to be vulnerable to ultraviolet radiation. Sunlight causes the outer layer of the skin, which is the epidermis, to become thinner, and encourages the overproduction of melanin, which will then result in hyper pimgmentation.  Sunlight exposure also causes the collagen in our skin to break down faster than natural aging does. Loss of collagen results in loss of elasticity for the skin, therefore to skin sagging and wrinkling.
What to do:  Wear broad-spectrum  Sun protection every day,  all year  around with at least  SPF 30 and avoid  the sun between 12am – 3 pm, if you live in a hot climate that is.

Smoking

Cigarette smoke is second only to sun exposure as the leading cause of skin damage, it  tends to thin your skin.  Smoking interferes with the absorption of Vitamin C and A, both of which provide skin protection. Nicotine is a diuretic, it dehydrates the skin and burns away the nutrients of the body. Smoking also promotes collagen deterioration and often cuts off the blood flow from the surface of the skin, which gives it a dry, pale appearance. In addition, the constant pursing  of your lips and squinting to keep out smoke  create lines around the mouth and eyes over time.
What to do:  The only thing you can do in this case is to stop smoking soon as possible.   Experts agree that  going cold turkey is most effective method.

Sugar
Renowned researcher  Nicholas Perricone M.D., says that the effects of sugar on skin is up there with smoking and sun as a leading cause of wrinkles. Simple sugars — the kind you find in cookies, cakes and many other foods, are molecules that attach to protein fibers in our cells in a damaging process called glycation. The end products of glycation is known as Advanced Glycation End products (short AGE's- how appropriate).Simply put, sugar causes inflammation and reduces the power of collagen to rebuild the skin’s structure and increase the rate at which collagen breaks down naturally. Glycation also robs the skin of its natural moisturizer, the hyaluronic acid. The results are skin dryness and sagging.
What to do: Cut back on sugar in your diet. Though not easy to eliminate sugar completely, avoid ingredients like high fructose corn syrup. Even whole grains, especially wheat products,  fruits, and vegetables  turn to glucose — the type of sugar that fuels glycation —when digested.

Getting wrinkles is a natural process and it is something we cannot avoid, but we can certainly slow down the aging process by  focusing on diet and exercise. Exercise can help bring blood to the surface of your skin and begins to replenish the capillaries with oxygen.
Eat lots of fruits, vegetables and fish that are rich in vitamins and minerals that fight the development of free radicals in the body. Also, drink plenty of water and herbal tea to keep the body hydrated, but avoid too much black tea and coffee.
Also try to get as much sleep as possible as well, as much as eight hours a day. Sufficient rest keeps the body from being stressed, since chronic stress accelerates the aging process.
Lastly, opt for home cosmetic products with alpha-hydroxy or beta-hydroxy acids, which will help exfoliate dead skin cells, but be sure to follow with a good moisturizer to counteract its drying effects.  Check also out my posts about  AHA's, BHA's and Image Skincare.

Trilogy Rosehip Oil - new addition to my skincare routine

Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil is a natural skin oil that helps to improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks, wrinkles and dry skin.  A combination of potent active ingredients and 100% natural formula make it highly effective for other skin concerns including ageing skin, dehydration, and uneven skin tone.
Our manufacturing expertise, product knowledge and proven results make Trilogy the Rosehip oil experts. We trust you will enjoy the benefits of this extraordinary skincare product - straight from nature to your skin.

 How Rosehip Oil Works
Rosehip oil is rich in skin-loving nutrients to improve your overall skin condition.
Omega 3 and Omega 6 Essential Fatty Acids: vital lipid compounds that moisturize dry skin and improve skin softness and elasticity.  Essential Fatty Acids are vital for the health of our skin; however, our body is not able to reproduce them.
Beta-carotene: a key nutrient for maintaining healthy skin and assisting in skin cell renewal and repair.  Helps to repair skin suffering from the effects of sun damage and lifestyle stresses.
The lipids found in Rosehip oil are similar to those found in your skin; therefore, it absorbs easily, leaving no oily residue.

What I think of Trilogy’s Rosehip Oil

Love it! This oil is honestly like liquid gold for my dry and pigmentation prone skin. The oil feels very soothing on my face. I only use about four drops, and that covers my whole face. I massage my face  then for about five minutes, and after that, my skin feels so soft and moisturized.
I've been using the rosehip oil  for six weeks now,  only in the evenings though and have noticed an overall improvement in my skin.
The result is radiant, smooth and glowing skin when I wake up in the morning since I started this routine. And the best thing about it is that I had no breakouts so far, and mind you, it’s a face oil, so I was bit skeptic at first.  The only downside is that it is bit on a pricey side, here in Ireland 20ml bottle cost 22 Euro, but in my opinion worth every cent.  And I defiantly will check out their other products. Their Everything Balm is next on my shopping list!

I highly can recommend this oil to everyone with dry, mature or sensitive skin.
Have you ever tried any Trilogy products?

Decleór Aromessence Rose D’Orient Soothing Night balm

I am absolutely in love with this balm! I love Image skincare and I think it has done wonders for my uneven in tone and acne prone skin, but I do find their products a tiny bit drying at times, so I was looking for something more soothing and moisturizing.
And this is where I stumble upon the Decleórs Aromessence Rose d`Orient D’Orient  Soothing Night balm.
I have never used any products by Decleór, but I have heard only good things about them. And this product has exceed my expectations and I have been really impressed by it so far.
It has a rich texture , but still doesn't clog my pores  and it makes my skin look dewy and plump.
I paid 50 Euros for 30ml,  so it is bit expensive,  but you only need a small amount and so it lasts long time. I have been using it for about a month, almost every night and still have half of the balm left.

What DECLÉOR says about ROSE D'ORIENT SOOTHING NIGHT BALM:
At night, the skin's biological rhythm changes.
To take advantage of this precious time, DECLÉOR has developed a made - to - measure night care for sensitive skin.
This 100% natural balm with meltingly soft and luscious texture helps:
-relieve and reduce feelings of discomfort (Neroli and Rose Essential Oils),
-rest and relax facial contours (Camomile Essential Oil, Almond and Blackcurrant Plant Oils).
Result: In the morning, your skin feels soft, soothed and calmed.

ingredients: sweet almond oil, beeswax, corn oil, shea butter, black currant oil, carnauba wax, orange flower essential wax, sweet marjoram oil, lavender oil, tocopherol, neroli oil, chamomile oil, rose oil (essential oils: 1.25% / plant oils and waxes: 98.75%)

I would say this a  perfect balm for combination and more sensitive skin. I will defiantly buy again! Have you ever tried any skincare by Decleór?

Dermalogica - intensive eye repair

AUGEN & LIPPEN

Most of the eye creams I have tried so far, either give me a milia or leave me with puffy eyes, so in my mind they were always too expensive and in my case useless and contra productive.  I  use most of the time olive oil to remove  my eye makeup and the oil residue left was just enough to soothe and moisturizer my eye area.  But lately, I really suffered from  dry skin around the eyes, and about two months ago and decided to give an another eye cream go.
Having heard many good things about Dermalogica eye creams, I wanted to see it for myself and bought  the Dermalogica - intensive eye repair.

From the Dermalogica Website:
intensive eye repair is an ultra-rich cream of skin-replenishing phytonutrients, antioxidant vitamins and soothing botanicals to help diminish dry lines. Contains no artificial fragrance or color.

How to use:
After cleansing, gently pat around the eye area, blending inward from the outer corner

Extra quick tip:
While you should always use gentle motions when applying product, this is especially true around the delicate and thin eye area. Never press heavily or pull the area when applying your eye product.

Ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Cyclopentasiloxane, Butylene Glycol, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Squalane, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil Unsaponifiables, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, PEG-40 Stearate, Rosa Centifolia Flower Extract, Retinyl Palmitate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Centella Asiatica Extract, Echinacea Purpurea Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Camellia Oleifera Leaf Extract, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Dioscorea Villosa (Wild Yam) Root Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Ruscus Aculeatus Root Extract, Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Lecithin, Phospholipids, Glycolipids, Sodium PCA, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Stearic Acid, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Sorbitan Tristearate, Dimethicone, Dimethiconol, Sclerotium Gum, Superoxide Dismutase, Triethanolamine, Panthenol, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.

What I like about this eye cream is that:
absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel greasy or migrate to eyes
doesn't clog my pores in my eye area  and doesn't give me puffy eyes
it contains retinol, which is the only ingredient that helps reducing wrinkles, so the fine lines are almost gone
it has improved the dryness, my eyes feel soft and moisturized, and  really look so fresh
it has improved the discoloration in my undereye circles

What I don’t like about it:
It is bit more on an expensive side but, you really don’t need that much eye cream so it will last  for about two months with daily application.
It is quite heavy cream, for that reason I prefer to apply it before I go to bed at night instead of applying it in the morning.

I really love the eye cream,  and recommend it to everyone with dry eye area and dark under eye circles.  Will defiantly buy again! Have you ever tried any Dermalogica eye creams? What is the eye cream you swear buy?
