You will need:
Base Coat
Nail Polish of your choice
Top Coat
Nail Polish Remover
Cotton buds
To make it easier for you, I have recorded a YouTube video for you, so check it out and now that you there please subsribe! So let's get started!
FIRST STEP: BASE COAT
Start with the thumb nail and apply the base coat using three strokes only: center first , then curve the brush to the left and then to the right. Then continue with your small finger, and so on using the same technique. Base coat acts like a primer and gives a smooth surface for the nail polish.
STEP TWO: NAIL POLISH - FIRST COAT
Apply the nail polish of your choice, again start with the thumb nail and apply the base coat using three strokes only: center first , then curve the brush to the left and then to the right. The first coat doesn't have to perfect!
STEP THREE: NAIL POLISH - SECOND COAT
Apply the same nail polish again, using the same technique as in step two. This time the coat must be applied perfectly, so take your time!
STEP FOUR: TOP COAT
Same technique again, start with the thumb nail and apply the base coat using three strokes only: center first , then curve the brush to the left and then to the right. Then continue with your small finger, and so on. The top coat will protect the nail polish from chipping and wearing off.
STEP FOUR: TIDY UP
If you get any nail polish on the nail folds, simple dip a cotton bud into a nail varnish remover and gently remove it.
That,s basically it - not a rocket science really but little of practice is required! It took my quite while to get it perfectly for my beauty exams, so don't despair if it doesn't look good first time around!
