Makeup Inspiration - Guardian Angel

The other day I was searching the Internet for angelic look ideas and couldn’t find any, or not many suitable for my makeup case study.
So I thought I will share the look, I used for my makeup case study, here applied on a client.  Just in case you are looking for a fancy dress ideas!

FACE:
To start with, I applied Smashbox photo finish primer.
I Then applied Shu Uemura face architecht illuminatig foundation, with a damp makeup sponge to my face, starting at middle of the face and blending it thoroughly outwards the hairline.

I then used MAC Concelear in NW15, which I applied with a damp sponge around the whole eye area as a base to conceal the darkness around the eyes. I also used the same concealer to even out my skin tone even further and blended it thoroughly with the foundation.

I then applied Smashbox Artificial light in flash all over her face on top of the illuminating foundation ; I wanted the makeup look to be very radiant almost golden, and applying illuminating lotion will highlight the face automatically on the high spots such as forehead, cheekbones, nose and cupids bow.

Additionally I applied MAC Crème base in shell to the forehead, bridge of the nose cheekbones, cupids bow and chin with the MAC 130 Stippling brush and blended it thoroughly. This will give a really glowy angelic look. I wanted the skin to look like it’s made of porcelain.

EYES:
I applied MAC pigment in Naked, a shimmery nude shade, as a base on the whole eye area , to even it out and also highlight the brow bone.

In the crease I applied Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow in Camel, a light orange brown shade, and blended it in thouroughly with a MAC 217 blending brush. I applied the same eye shadow to the lower lid with a MAC pencil brush and smudged it further with a smudger brush.

I used the same eye shadow to fill in the eyebrows.
On the waterline I applied MAC eyeliner in Naked, a nude shade, to brighten the eyes and make the eyes look larger.

I applied on coat of Benefit Bad gal mascara in plum.

LIPS and CHEEKS:
I applied Bobbi Brown Crème lip and cheek color in Pale Pink, with a MAC 130 stipling brush on the apple on of my cheeks and blended it softly towards the hairline.
I lined the lips with Mac Lip pencil in In Synch, a nude pink shade, and also applied the Bobbi Browns Crème lip and cheek color in Pale Pink with a lip brush to the lips.

Hope you like the look!
