Bobbi Browns Pot Rouge - Review

I am a big fan of Bobbi Browns Pot Rouge. Pot Rouge is a multi-tasking cream color that can be used on cheeks and lips. I had already one pot rouge in Calypso coral and I thought I do not need a new one, but after seeing the new packaging I had to get it!  It's now in a mirrored flip-top compact for on-the-spot application. This will make using it as a lip color much easier. Although I find it a bit drying as a lip color so I recommend pairing it with a lip-gloss.  Another thing I love about them is that the staying power of the blushes is really long lasting. When applied to the cheeks, you really get that dewy glow and it almost  feels like a moisturizing cream.  I usually  apply the pot rouge with a foundation blush or with a lip brush.

Bobbi Browns Pot Rouge comes in 10 different shades and they cost 26 Euro each here in Ireland.

Blushed Rose -  a brown  pink          Calypso Corala bright coral
Chocolate Cherrya red brown       Fresh Melona pink peach
Milk chocolate – a chocolate brown   Pale Pink – bright pastel pink
Powder Pink- a light pink                    Raspberry- a deep  raspberry pink
Rose – a pink rose                              Uber Beige – a pink beige

I think all  colors are pretty and wearable, and most of them would suit all skin tones.
As I have mentioned before, I already had the Calypso coral with the old packaging, and additionally I  bought  the shades in Rose, Powder Pink and Pale Pink. In the pictures below I've applied the shades to my  lips and cheeks, so you can see how fab they are.

Here is also YouTube video so you can get a better feel what they look like:

Calypso Coral is a vibrant coral with strong pink tones. that would suit pretty much any skintone.  Although it  want give you a natural look, but more a  bright coral cheek, which is nice for summer.

Powder Pink is a warm, slightly peachy pink with soft brown undertones .
It's a flattering color for warm or yellow based skin tones.
It gives a very subtle look and is a great base layering shade.

Rose is very similar to Powder pink only bit darker in color with more reddish brown tones. I would describe it as warm dark rose pink. It looks very natural on my cheeks and it is best suitable for warmer skin tones.

Bright pastel pink with cool undertones.  Looks great combined with dark or colorful smokey eyes or perfect lipstick for the nude look. Would look amazing on paler skin tones.

Have you ever tried Bobbi Brown’s pot rouge? What is your favorite brand for cream blushes?
