So what is the difference really now between the Urban Decay Basic Palette and the Naked Basic Palette 2?
This is what I have discovered:
Naked Basics is warm toned and the eyeshadows are much darker and more pigmented than the Naked the Palette 2, therefore its more suitable for darker skin tones, whereas the number 2 is more cool toned and it would be more suited for lighter skin tones.
Also the shades in Naked Basics are more matte, except for the Venus, which is supposed to be used as a highlighting shade. The eyeshadows in Naked Basics 2 have more of a satin finish.
The packaging is the same.
Although, I have both palettes, I prefer the original Naked Basics Eyeshadow Palette.

As you can see from the photo, the eyeshadows are perfect for a polished day look .
