Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation - Review

Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation is a light-weight foundation created by Internatinonal Top Makeup Artist Charlotte Tilbury.
The Light Wonder Foundation provides light coverage, but can be build up to medium coverage, but never to full coverage.  This foundation will leave you with a dewy finish and will give you youthful glow. It’s packed with botanical anti-ageing ingredients that will boost collagen production and therefore delay the ageing process.  On top of that it contains SPF 15 to protect you from damaging sun rays.
The Foundation comes in plastic container with a narrow nozzle, so that way you can squeeze out as much product as you like and you never will be wasting too much of it. There are 10 different shades to choose from and I was matched to shade 4 which you can see in the photos.

I bought this foundation mainly because I was thinking to switch MAC Face & Body Foundation, which I use mostly on myself and my clients, but I decided not to go for it in the end.
The reason for that was mainly that I didn’t find that this foundation was suitable for all skin types and that it couldn't imagine that it would last all day. I have a combination skin, with my T-Panel being oily and the rest of my face being very dry and I found that if I didn’t use loads of powder my T-zone was shining as if I had as some kind of oil applied to it, although the foundation is to be oil free.  I also found that the foundation literally disappeared on my face; the coverage is so lightweight that after one hour without using powder to set it, my face looked bare.  I would say it’s similar to a tinted moisturizer in texture. To make it full coverage, I usually add a drop of Estee Lauder Double Maximum Coverage Foundation.

The bottom line is that the foundation is not for me and I will not repurchase, but nonetheless I would recommend it to mature and normal skin types or generally to everyone who doesn’t have any kind of blemishes or pigmentation or any other mayor irregularities to deal with. I also think that the foundation would be great for creating flawless and dewy complexion on models on the photo-shoots, so it would be great foundation to have in your makeup kit.

I have also use the foundation in  this YouTube tutorial:
