Valentines Day Make-up Inspiration

Oh dear, its that time of the year again,Valentines Day. Some love it, some hate it, personally  I am not crazy about it as it seems to be way to commercial these days and I think it puts unnecessary pressure on many relationships and on to of that it makes single feel inadequate.

Non-the-less, if you are planning to head out for the Valentines Day, here is a makeup inspiration that you could try on  the most romantic day of the year. 

STEP-BY STEP MAKE-UP

EYES

Step 1

Apply metallic brown crème blush to your lid as base and blend with a brush or your fingers towards your brows. The color should be very concentrated on your lids.

Product used: MAC Creme eyeshadow in Rubenesque 
Step 2

Line your eyes with a a dark brown pencil, it doesn't have to be precise as it will be blended. 

Product used: Makeup Forever eye-pencil in Gypsy 

Step 3

Smudge the eyeliner with a pencil brush or a cotton bud. 
Step 4

Apply a salmon pink eyeshadow through the lid crease with a fluffy blending brush. 
Product used: MAC eyeshadow in Expensive Pink 
Step 5

With a hard flat brush apply dark brown eyeshadow in the outer V corner of the eye and blend with a fluffy brush.
Product used: MAC eyeshadow in Embark 
Step 6 and 7

Line the eyes with black eyepencil and smudge with a pencil brush or a cotton bud. Also apply the pencil to the lower lid waterline.

Product used: Bobbi Brown pencil in Jet

Step 8

Apply two coats of black mascara to the upper and lower lashes. Product used: Giorgio Armani Mascara Eyes to Kill

Brush the eyebrows upwards and define them with an eyedefiner pencil and eyeshadow or a brow pencil. 

FACE

Step 9: Foundation
Apply a sheer foundation all over your face. Product used:MAC Face & Body

Step 10: Bronzer
Apply a bronzer to the temples, on the cheekbones and just right under the jaw line in a figure of 3.
Product used: Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel
Step 11: Blush
Smile and apply a shimmery cream blush to the cheeks. 
Product used: MAC Colorbase in Improper Copper
LIPS

Step 12

Apply a color lip-gloss.

Product used: MAC lipglass in Pink Lemonade
