Hello girlies, meet my favourite MAC blushes. I love every single one of them to bits, and they have to compete for my attention on a daily basis. I am a Bobbi Brown blush addict, but I have to say that the MAC blushes are pretty similar in colour and staying power department. If you have never tried a MAC blush, then I urge you to do this immediately. If you haven't tried a MAC blush, you haven't lived. Seriously!
I've also recorded a short YouTube video about my top six MAC blushes and MAC lipsticks. These are the combinations that I wear often, hope you like them!
Mac Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Peachykeen |
MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Peachykeen
This is my favourite MAC blush. Peachykeen is a lovely peachy pink blush with subtle gold shimmer.
It's very similar to Benefit's Coralista. Love the shade for more neutral looks. I also think, it would look amazing on olive or tanned skin.
MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Springsheen |
MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Sprinsheen
This is another favourite. It's a light peachy-pink with golden shimmer, so ideal for a natural flush look. I love the way this blush looks on my skin. Springsheen is very similar to Peachykeen, maybe just a tad more on the orange side. It really gives me a healthy sun kissed glow. In my opinion a highlighter is not really needed when using this blush.
MAC Blush in Melba |
MAC Blush in Melba
Melba is a matte peachy pink blush that leans more peach on warmer skin tones. I would say this is matte version of the Springsheen blush. I use this shade mostly during the spring and summer months for a natural healthy look.

MAC Blush in Style (Frost Finish) |
This is my very first MAC blush and it is still one of my favourites. It's a lovely coral peach with gold sheen. I like to wear Style when I want a little bit of warmth to my face not a whole lot of colour but enough for glow which is perfect for summer. The shade will look gorgeous on all skin tones, especially on tanned or on darker skin tones. It has great pigmentation and lasts all day.
MAC Mineralize Blush in Dainty |
I would describe this blush as a rosy peach colour rather than pink. It is great for a light flush of colour and has just the right amount of shimmer in it. I just love the healthy glow it gives me, it looks so soft and natural. I use this blush almost everyday, it's my go to colour.
MAC Sheertone Blush in Pinch Swoon |
Pink Swoon is a matte light warm pink blush that looks like a natural flush. I mostly use this blush on the apples of my cheeks. Looks great when combined with MAC Blush in Harmony and Tenderling, or combined with bold red lips. It goes on quite sheer, but can be built up for more intensity.
MAC Sheertone Blush in Dollymix |
MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Dollymix
As this is a sheertone shimmer blush, the color is not as intense as it appears in the pan, but still very pigmented and buildable. It’s a blue based medium pink, with a shimmery glow. This blush is versatile enough to be used for natural flush of color or for a more dramatic look.

MAC Matte Blush in Frankly Scarlet |
All the dark skin ladies please get this blush. Frankly Scarlet is a bright, vivid red, but it gives the most beautiful reddish-pink flush color to the darker complexions. I don’t really use this blush myself, but more on models and clients with very tan or deep dark complexions. If you are one of the fairer ladies you could pull this one of if they are going for the “I just got out the cold and I my cheeks are flushing red” look or for for the strong and colorful 80’s look or the innocent “Snow White” look.
MAC Sheertone Blush in Pinch O'Peach |
This is a perfect healthy-looking matte peachy-pink tone. This blush is perfect for a sheer flush of pink or a bright pop of colour! Your choice! It's very pigmented, so use with a light hand. I use this blush mostly on the days when I need a little pick me up, so in other words, almost everyday, as you can see in the picture, I've hit the bottom.
MAC Sheertone Blush in Tenderling |
Tenderling is a matte light beige peach and it gives my cheeks healthy warm glow, just like my cheeks but better. This blush would suit to someone who adores the natural look and is generally bit shy around blushes. This blush is also great as a contour color for lighter skin complexion, and I always use this blush if I think that MAC Harmony blush might be too dark or to intense.
MAC Matte Blush in Harmony |
I use this blush mainly for contouring my face, and usually use another blush on top of my cheeks. It’s a matte medium neutral brown, not to cool and not to warm. It will probably suit best for someone with darker skin tone as it is quite pigmented, and can look to muddy on lighter complexions. So if you are looking for a good contouring blush, this might be the one for you.
What about you ladies? What is your favourite MAC blusher?

What eyeshadow are you wearing in your Pinch O Peach photo? It's Stunning!
ReplyDeleteHi there, I am wearing MAC eyeshadow in woodwinked and urban decay 24/7 eyeliner pencil in baked. So first I applied the MAC eyeshadow in woodwinked and blended it lightly and then intesified the shadow with the urban decay 24/7 eyeliner pencil in baked, and finshed the look lashing of mascara! xxx Marina
DeleteStyle is my very first blush by MAC and so far I love it! I've only worn it a few times. I think it's going to be my go to blush for an every day look!

Hi! Can you recommend a Bobbi Brown blush that resembles Tenderling by Mac? I really love the shade, but would prefer the square packaging for travel. I read your post on Bobbi Brown blushes but those shades didn't seem similar as far as I could tell.
ReplyDeleteHeya, thank you for visiting my blog. The closest shade to MAC Tendering would be Slopes ( darker and more on a pinker side) or Nude Peach ( lighter in color more peachy). I would go for Slopes to be honest. x Marina
