Prom/Debs Make-up and tips

Prom/Debs is right around the corner, and here are few tips  how to look special for your big day. You'll have those prom/debs pictures for years, so you don't want be looking back years later and be thinking, God what was I just thinking with that dramatic make-up.
The Prom/Debs make-up needs to be special but yet natural looking at the same time.

For at least 2 weeks prior the prom/debs, you should cleanse and moisturize your face every day in the morning and the evening. Also apply once a week a good exfoliating scrub to prevent buildups of old skin and oil and also apply a deep moisturizing mask after the scrub for 10 minutes. This will help promote healthy skin and will give you a healthy and dewy glow during prom/debs night. Also drink at least 2-3 liters of water a day that will further boost the moisture level in your skin.

Perfecting your skin tone can be more important than eye or lip makeup, and the secret is to make it look like you're wearing hardly any makeup.
To avoid the cakey look, only apply foundation on the areas of skin that are discolored or have blemishes, they are usually the forehead, cheeks and chin. Also make sure that the foundation matches your skin color.

Emphasize your eyes with natural looking eye shadows, such as earth tone shades. I would suggest instead of the thick eyeliner, just to emphasize your upper lash line with black eye shadow, concentrating on the roots of the lashes only. Only apply two coats of Mascara and avoid the spider leg look.
Keep cheeks dewy with highlighter and a pink blush and plump up lips with a colored gloss.
