Scientists are regularly reporting new health benefits associated with fruits and vegetables. Eating more fruits and vegetables is a worthwhile goal. Eating a variety of different colours of fruits and vegetables every day is a new way of thinking about meeting the goal.
Yellow orange and red foods
This group contains antioxidants called carotenes. They protect cells and membranes of your body, such as your skin and cell walls and are vital for fighting the effects of ageing and protecting your body against stress, chemicals and the sun, all the causes of the visible signs of ageing. They are also high in Vitamin C, which will protects us from cold and flu.
Green foods
Cabbage, Chives, Leeks, Onions,
